Condition Spreading Beast Master?
So, I have this PvE ranger. She has a pet, and I like it that way. Due to my computer being crappy and my reaction time not being stellar (not to mention the fact that AI does it better), I'm not interested in making her an interruptor. For some reason, condition spreading sounds fun to me (and it seems like rangers are okay at it). Here's what I've come up with so far:
R/Me
Marksmanship 10+1+1
Beast Mastery 11+1
Expertise 10+1
[Enraged Lunge][Poisonous Bite][Feral Lunge][Pin Down][Sundering Attack][Epidemic][Charm Animal][Comfort Animal]
Pin Down is in there instead of maiming strike because I don't think maiming strike will actually do much crippling. I mean, if the pet is in melee with the enemy, chances are the enemy isn't moving, right? I guess I imagine the crippling being most useful at the start of a fight, before the pet would be within range. Plus, I want to do something with that bow I'm carrying besides autoattacking (also why I put Sundering Attack in there).
Thoughts? Improvements? Other options? Flames?
By the way, it's very likely that I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, so keep that in mind when critiquing.

With only two beast mastery skills (besides Enraged Lunge) that will be recharging, you're not really getting the full benefit of Enraged Lunge...
So without deviating from your build idea (because I know you don't like that) =P
I'd say... drop Enraged Lunge and use Broad Head Arrow as your elite.
That way you'll still be spreading conditions, but daze is much more practical to spread around.
Also maybe drop Sundering Attack for Scavenger Strike to keep your energy up, so you don't become useless halfway through killing a group of mobs.

12 Beast Mastery doesn't do anything for you but add a little bit of damage/duration to those skills. 11 Expertise doesn't hit any break points for energy, but 12 would. I'd run 11+1 Expertise to hit the break point. Depending on where you are using it, and what you are fighting, you may want/need some buffs for you and/or your pet.
Blocking prevelent? Otugh's Cry works nice, and gives the pet some defense too.
Need/want to attack faster? Never Rampage alone works for you and the pet both.
Those are just 2 skills, but as you can see, that shows a possible flaw in the build. Facing a bunch of monsters with blocking enchants or stances? You and the pet won't do much. And an IAS is always useful. Besides, as noted, taking more Beast Mastery skills make it easier to get the full damage bonus from the elite. Might even consider Heal As One for areas where self healing is important, or Rampage As One for spots where you want a better IAS. Course the new version of Strike As One is also fun.... teleporting pets is fun

Well condition spreading is great and even more on a ranger but even thou the BM att has the ability to cause conditions , if you want to SPREAD them , wilderness survival and marksmanship win. With your pet you should cause as much as you can and leave epidemic and hypocondria on a Hero. Hammer and Spear BM rangers ftw !

i play a lot of BM in HM dungeons, vanqs, missions ext.
and BhA with some pet conditions, Scavenger Strike, epidemic work wonders.
if you plan on spreading BhA (daze) think about adding volly in also, AoE daze with AoE melee works very nice.

Do you guys think an effective build could be made for PvE using BHA and a pet? Perhaps rather then apply poison, poisonous bite as a cover condition.

When running BHA/Epidemic, Volley is usually brought too, as greyhawk said.
Having cover conditions for daze is good (although, not particularly needed in most areas).
Scavenger Strike is great energy management, letting you constantly keep everything dazed and interrupted.
So it's definitely not ineffective.

Benefit to having a pet on a BHA build is there is another source of hits to interrupt the dazed target. Toss in some attribute points and skills and those hits will also do some damage and supply more conditions. I'd suggest looking into Bestial/Savage Pounce for not only interrupting a dazed target, but knocking it down. Lots of options, just depends on what you like the look of. I often run a BHA hero and toss a pet in about half the time. Works well and also triggers things like Barbs and Mark of Pain if you have someone on the team using them.

Volley
Bestial Pounce
Broad Head Arrow
Never Rampage Alone
Poisonous Bite
Epidemic
Comfort Animal
Charm Animal
Beast Mastery 10
Expertise 14
Marksmanship 10
I use Saushali's Recurve Bow
Lengthens Dazed 33%
Energy +5
Health + 30
Maintain NRA. You activate poisonous bite and Bestial Pounce as Caster attempts to cast a spell, once knocked down, you hit with BHA and cast Epidemic to spread poison and dazed to surrounding foes. Then spam Volley until you are satisfied or foes' death, which ever comes first.
P.S. Thank you for your response Magma. Orange Milk is yet to be seen.

If you're referring to my rit, the build idea was "don't be redundant" . Mass-rezzing was the only thing I knew of at the time that rits could do better than monks. I've since given up on that in favor of a resto/channel build that spams splinter weapon at 14.

Ok, I'll switch those two around.
NRA would require me to farm sunspear points, and this is a factions character who quite possibly won't bother with the other two campaigns for quite some time, if ever. For the same reason, I probably won't be looking at Strike as One (although I really really would love to; it would be perfect for this).
Hmmm...How about this then?
[Broad Head Arrow][Epidemic][Poisonous Bite][Hunter's Shot][Pin Down][Scavenger's Strike][Charm Animal][Comfort Animal]
